As the global economy swan-dives into the deep end of what seems like an inverted Lake Wobegon (where all the financial institutions are below average) things are looking unfettered for yours truly. My summer at Seedcamp turned out to far exceed expectations (or "exSeed" them, as we say around the office - OMG HILARIOUS), ending in the main Seedcamp Week event, the video highlights of which are available for your viewing pleasure. That was followed by an all-too-brief week in Norway with scenery so placid that, in stark contrast to my earlier metaphorical lake of macroeconomic distress, it looks as good turned upside-down as it does normally (demonstrated by the above picture).

I've also just begun what will in all likelihood be my final year of academic study ever, which is cause for both celebration and trepidation. And to top it all off I just found out that the same author wrote both The Bridge over the River Kwai and Planet of the Apes. So things are generally good.
